2 Corinthians 12:9

And He said unto me;

"My grace is sufficient for you; for my strength is made perfect in weakness".

During this weekend away we will be addressing the spiritual and practical skills with which we can attain this 'Gift of Hope' as promised in this verse.

We also want to learn how to adopt the attitude of St Paul below;

"Most gladly, therefore, I will rather glory in my weaknesses that the power of Christ may dwell in me."

The attitude and the realisation of our purpose here on earth before we are husbands, wives, dads, mums, sons, daughters, son -in-laws, daughter-in-laws, servants and so on is to glorify Him.

However, due to Christ's unsurmountable humility, when we glorify Him, He shares it with His creation because of His love for us.

The love, blessings and glory which is then bestowed upon us will be evident in our families, children, work and service.
